TOM SALT PARK

Public BBQ

Tucked between Rosebud's bustling foreshore and the Mornington Peninsula's quieter stretches, Tom Salt Park offers that rare combination of convenience and charm that makes for memorable family outings. The compact playground might not rival its flashier neighbour down the beach, but what it lacks in scale it makes up for in practicality, covered barbecues, proper picnic tables, and clean toilets all within an easy stroll of the sand. The real magic happens during the shoulder seasons when the holiday crowds thin out and locals reclaim this pocket of coastal paradise. Children dart between the playground equipment and the shoreline while parents fire up the barbies under the shaded areas, watching cargo ships drift across Port Phillip Bay.
